After nearly a twenty-year hiatus, Nowata County’s famous pastime celebration, Pioneer Days, is set to return for the second straight year in downtown Nowata, Oklahoma. The event will take place on Saturday, May 2nd from 9am-3pm. With the event’s Grand Parade starting at 2pm.
Last year’s vendors were welcomed with a huge onslaught of foot traffic and most importantly, sales. From homemade crafts and service providers, to homemade BBQ.
This year we’re looking to double our number of vendors, especially food vendors. While the price to attend the event for a vendor will remain FREE. Yes, free.
Also, you will not have to register your business for a temporary business license with the City of Nowata. But, you will have to collect sales tax on sales made at the event and remit the sales tax collected to the City of Nowata prior to leaving the event.
